Confidence & Self Esteem

Lacking in confidence and self-esteem can be extremely debilitating, both socially and at work. The need for reassurances, or the tendency to pass decisions to others can escalate into low self-worth and an irrational focus on criticism. This results in being easily railroaded into decisions, or withdrawing completely to avoid putting yourself in situations that make you feel insecure.

How I can help

I ask what confidence means to you, and we work towards achieving it by focussing on your strengths, positive attributes and successes, gradually increasing your self-esteem.

Common symptoms:
Unwanted habits (e.g. nail biting)
Social withdrawal
Inability to accept compliments
Worries about what others think
Self-neglect
Expecting little out of life
Reluctance to change
Reluctance to face challenges
